Ayurveda - knowledge of life. It is a system of traditional medicine of native India. The word ayurveda consists of the words āyus, meaning "life", and veda, meaning "related to knowledge" or "science". The philosophy of Ayurveda is that life resembles a harmoniously flowing stream. Rigveda is a 2,000 year old sacred text and is the oldest written testimony to the art of healing. It includes discourse on hygiene, diagnosis, and therapy.

Care that flows from wisdom

Ayurveda

Ayurveda allows the use of only natural materials. The oils, infusions, herbs and traditional soap in the form of a fat-absorbing powder used for the treatments are prepared from plants grown using traditional methods on designated plantations. Veda means knowledge, Ayur means life. According to Ayurveda, life is not rigid divisions, but is a harmoniously flowing stream.

MASSAGE

ABHYANGA

In literal translation, Abhyanga means “anointment”. This impressive and extremely pleasurable massage technique, deriving from Asiatic countries, introduces us to a unique climate of the Orient. A subtle rubbing of warm and fragrant oil into the skin helps to suppress weariness, insomnia and anxiety. Oil massages are known from their positive effects on the immunological system. They are based on the principle that the more stress (physical or psychical) our organism experiences, the more oil should be used for the massage. The effectiveness of Abhyanga massage depends mostly on the quality and properties of the oil used. Ayurvedic oils strengthen the nervous and immunological systems, and regenerate the tissue from within and on the outside. The best Ayurvedic oils are herbal oils basing on black sesame.
